These Terms of Service ("Terms") are a legal agreement between you and VROTRACK LLC ("VROTRACK," "we," "us," or "our") governing your purchase and use of VROTRACK GPS tracking devices, our website, our mobile and web apps, and our subscription service (together, the "Service"). By buying a device, creating an account, or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
VROTRACK provides GPS tracking hardware with built-in cellular connectivity and a companion app that lets you view a device's location, history, zones, and alerts. Coverage and accuracy depend on GPS availability, cellular network coverage, and factors outside our control. The Service is provided for lawful use only.
You must be at least 18 years old to use the Service. You may only track vehicles, equipment, or property that you own or are otherwise legally authorized to track. You are solely responsible for complying with all applicable laws, including laws regarding consent, privacy, and surveillance. Using VROTRACK to track a person without their knowledge or consent, or for any harassing, stalking, or unlawful purpose, is strictly prohibited and may result in termination and referral to authorities.
You are responsible for the information you provide and for keeping your account credentials secure. You are responsible for all activity under your account. Notify us promptly of any unauthorized use.
Tracking devices are sold as one-time hardware purchases. Prices, shipping fees, and availability are shown at checkout and may change. Title and risk of loss pass to you on delivery. Hardware may be covered by a limited warranty against manufacturing defects; contact support@vrotrack.com for warranty or return questions.
The tracking service requires an active subscription, billed through our payment processor (Stripe) on the plan and term you select (for example monthly or annual). Where a free trial is offered, your subscription begins and billing starts at the end of the trial unless you cancel before it ends. Subscriptions renew automatically for successive terms until canceled. By subscribing you authorize recurring charges to your payment method.
You may cancel your subscription at any time; cancellation stops future renewals and takes effect at the end of your current billing term. Except where required by law, subscription fees already paid are non-refundable. There are no long-term contracts. To cancel, use your account/billing page or email support@vrotrack.com.
You agree not to misuse the Service, including: reverse-engineering or interfering with the hardware, app, or network; reselling access without authorization; attempting to access other users' data; or using the Service to violate any law or the rights of others.
We work to keep the Service reliable but do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. Location data may be delayed, incomplete, or unavailable due to signal, coverage, battery, or device conditions. The Service is not a substitute for emergency, security, or law-enforcement services.
THE SERVICE AND HARDWARE ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT, TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW.
TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, VROTRACK AND ITS SUPPLIERS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR ANY LOSS ARISING FROM THEFT, LOSS, OR DAMAGE TO PROPERTY, LOSS OF DATA, OR INABILITY TO LOCATE A DEVICE. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM WILL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID TO US FOR THE SERVICE IN THE 12 MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM.
You agree to indemnify and hold VROTRACK harmless from claims arising out of your use of the Service, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any law or third-party right.
We may modify the Service or these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be posted here with a new "Last updated" date. Your continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the state in which VROTRACK LLC is organized, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules.
